We’re swimming in cookies and icing here at our house. We’ve been making samples of cookies and lots of icings to prepare for our Christmas Cookie Decorating boxes, which launched last night.
What’s so special about these boxes?
You can’t find these at the local grocery store, and usually not the Walmart either.
The cookies are made from scratch, rather than having a 6 month shelf life like the above mentioned locations.
The icing is Royal icing, made from scratch, ready to use (and there’s lots of it in each bag!)
This keeps the kids and grandkids busy during vacation and snow days!
You have the pride of decorating your own cookies without having to break out the ingredients and cranking up the oven—no baking mess!
These have been so much fun to put together! In making the icing colors I looked like a toddler with markers—that was a lot of fun in itself! I’ve used the cookies to help teach how to make rolled cookies and adjust for humidity (or lack of ) in the kitchen and make the perfect consistency in the dough before rolling and cutting. And, we both learned how to work with chocolate dough in making red velvet cut outs in the same Christmas designs.

The sugar cookies have a beautiful buttery flavor along with vanilla and almond. We’re offering options without almond flavoring as well. And, we have yummy gingerbread as an option for the cookie cutouts!
How do you go about finding these? Easy! We have them stocked in at The Christmas Shoppe section of our store. If you know us individually on Facebook or on our FB business page, you can get yours there as well (please don’t message the FB business page, it’ll get lost in the Meta-verse along with the other messages). We do need approximately 3 days to make these on demand due to our work schedules and duties, and we plan to have some readily available for weekends between now and Christmas. We’re also expecting to add different types for other seasons and holidays—we’re just getting started!
Check back in our Christmas Shoppe area this weekend as we prepare to launch a second cookie box—the Christmas Dinner, Cookies for Santa, and non-cookie related goodies.
