First Time Decorating

Jess is pretty new to decorating cookies. This season is a new experience for her, but she's trying.

We worked together making lots of sugar cookie dough, and she learned how to roll and cut cookies.

From there she makes royal icing recipe and learned how to color different small bowls of icing. Then she started piping different cookies

There's definitely a lot to learn, but for just beginning she's off to a good start.

Her dad asked her to make these for a social at church tonight.

This is her first time making Christmas cookies from scratch start to finish.

I stayed mostly hands off, letting her get experience with icing consistency, colors, and so on.

We shall be making more!
